11.01.1969 «Pop-Uitzendig uit London», Nederland TV 1, Amsterdam, Netherlands

A music show who lasted on 45’ and focused on the musical scene in London. Never broadcasted since. I'm not agree with the statement of Glenn Povey about the date and the venue. First the title of this show sounds pretty Dutch. And, we can find some traces of this show in the (Dutch) newspapers.

1st April 1969 « The Massed Gadgets of Auximenes », Royal Festival Hall, London, England

Extracts from rehearsals filmed by Anthony Stern showing excerpts from Afternoon (Biding My Time), The Beginning (Green is the Colour), Beset by Creatures of the Deep, Doing It and The End of the Beginning. It's worth noting that live extracts from Sleeping, Nightmare, Daybreak (Part 2) taken from a new source from this show are included at the end of the film. This suggests that the concert itself was filmed. According to some sources, the first part of the show was filmed (which is the second reel of this concert). This thirty-minute tape is in the band's archives. Statements made by Waters indicate that the band were not happy with the quality of the concert (which they considered to be very amateurish). Included in the box set « Pink Floyd - The early years 1965-1972 ».

Roger Waters :

David Gilmour:

«It was fantastic to be thinking that we were in there making up a piece of music, while the astronauts were standing on the moon. It doesn't seem conceivable that that would happen on the BBC nowadays. I've never forgotten Moonhead, though. After all, it's not hard to remember exactly where I was»
