According many witnesses, some amateur cameramen have shot the gig

22 June1974 Théâtre de Plein Air, Parc des Expositions, Colmar, France

Concert recorded in 8mm by the french collecter Paul D. The tape has been lost when he's dead in the nineties.

24 June 1974 Palais des Sports de la Porte de Versailles, Paris, France

It seems this concert was recorded professionally by a french TV crew. Money would be broadcasted on « Pop 2 ». Dubious!

Rare snapshot of this gig

4 July 1974 « A Long Drawn out trip », BBC Two, London, England

Broadcasting of the infamous cartoon of Gerald Scarfe at 10:10pm. Roger, Nick and David have seen it separately. They contact him the day after.

24 August 1974 « Point Chaud - Seconde Partie », ORTF TV, Paris, France
To coincide with the band's summer tour of France, a special 15-minute programme dedicated totally to the band. Hosted by Albert Raisner with the Floyd’s biography Jean-Marie Leduc.

For this first part, extracts from the band’s appearances on French TV in 1968-69 and at the Abbaye de Royaumont TV show (1971).

Interestingly, the first few minutes show extracts from the BBC's « Science Fiction » TV programme recorded in December 1968, which has been erased by the Beebs’s archive since. See the page dedicated to 1968 for more details

7 September 1974 « Point Chaud - Seconde Partie », ORTF TV, Paris, France
To coincide with the band's summer tour of France, a special 15-minute programme dedicated totally to the band. Hosted by Albert Raisner with the Floyd’s biography Jean-Marie Leduc.

For this second part, extracts from the San Tropez concert (1970), the Abbaye de Royaumont TV show (1971), the rehearsals of the Ballet Roland Petit (1972) and the « Live at Pompeii » (Mademoiselle Nobs, A Saucerful and Echoes) were shown.

Interestingly, the first few minutes show extracts from the BBC's « Science Fiction » TV programme recorded in December 1968, which has been erased by the Beebs’s archive since. See the page dedicated to 1968 for more details

October 1974 « British Winter Tour » footage

The third issue of « The Amazing Pudding » fanzine indicates some footage taped by the band. Highly dubious.

29 October 1974 « Old Grey Whistle Test », BBC TV, Londres, Angleterre

Broadcasting of Echoes from the « Crystal Voyager » film.

6 November 1974 « Aujourd'hui madame », ORTF TV 2, Paris, France
Some extracts from the Amougies festival was broadcasted during the sequence dedicated to the success of the band among the young people («Aimez vous la musique comme vos enfants ?»

12 November 1974 « Old Grey Whistle Test », BBC TV,  London, England

For the « Golden Earing » sequence, Storm Thorgerson, Aubrey Powell and Richard Dean are interviewed by Bob Harris about the work of Hipgnosis artworks.

13 November 1974 « Reflets de la danse », FR3, Paris, France

Topic on the « Ballet Pink Floyd » with Roland Petit.

15 January 1975 « Midi Première », TF1, Paris, France

An interview of David in this show. Given that he was recording with the group « Wish you were here » at EMI Studios and that this show was live and focused more on French music, this seems unlikely.

12 March 1975 « Trois contre X », FR3 TV, Paris, France

A TV show dedicated to Pink Floyd

13 April 1975 The Cow Palace, San Francisco, USA

According some rumors, a 8mm tape exists.

27 April1975 Los Angeles Sports Arena, Los Angeles, USA
A 17 minutes Super-8mm footage is present on the Bootleg-DVD called « 8mm ». The quality is pretty crap since it was scanned in the nineties, maybe by filming the screening with a VHS recorder. A new source, shorter but better version, has been unearthed since.

A second source shooted by John Waters show a different angle of the gig with long parts of « Dark Side of the Moon » set. This black & White footage was digitalised, synchronised and enhanced  by Nuff and David Capolongo. Released on November 2023.

9 or 10 June 1975 Capital Center, Landover, USA

On March 2021, a collector found an 8mm recording of the concert on the 9th or 10th by a man named Jeff Randolph. This tape presents large shots of the band in a good quality. We can see the band taking the stage, then clips from Raving & Drooling, Shine on (with long shots of the mirroball), clips from « The Dark Side … » (Time, Money, Eclipse) and Echoes. Some shots of the audience as well.

20 June 1975 Three Rivers Stadium, Pittsburgh, USA

Rumour has it that this concert was professionally recorded at the band's request but never released due to audio and/or video problems. Nothing is less certain, as testimonies from people who attended the concert tend to show that they do not remember the presence of TV crews (which implies heavy and therefore conspicuous logistics). However, several sources seem to indicate that a local TV crew quickly filmed some extracts from the show,

26 June 1975 Autostade, Montréal, Canada

We've been talking about a half-hour 8mm recording of this concert for a few years by a Montrealer knew as Philippe. kept by whoever made it. Apparently he would have borrowed the college material to record the most important parts of the concert. An audio capture would also exist. This tape was found in 2020 by Philippe Legault.

28 June 1975 Ivor Wynne, Hamilton, Canada

An exceptional tape of almost 28 minutes showing all the tracks played that evening (but only partially, given the technical limitations). This tape, rediscovered in 2023, was filmed in Super 8mm by Philippe Lalonde. The tape was scanned in 8k by the 'Speedy' group (a collective of collectors), upscaled, cleaned and synchronised by the « Genesis Museum » and « Pink Floyd research group ». One of the best live testimonies of the band's history, the greatest discovery of recent years without a doubt.

5 July 1975 « Knebworth Festival », Knebworth, London, England

Recorded by the first french TV channel with  for inclusion in the News TV report about the festival (we have some glimpses of the audience and the country too). The band play Raving & Drooling and some bits of Shine on you Crazy Diamond (part 9). There were some rumours that more footage existed in the TF1 archives but I've had confirmation that this was false. Another rumour refers to an Italian TV source

«Blue Floyd», Best, August 1975.

2 October 1975 « Vous avez dit bizarre ? »,  Antenne 2, Paris, France

A sequence from the « French Window », maybe One of these days, is broadcasted.

11 October 1975 « A bout portant », TF1, Paris, France

A short extract (less than 2 minutes) from the Pink Floyd ballet. It is not known whether these are previously unseen images or reruns of extracts already known (i.e. broadcast in 1972 and 1973).

26 October 1975 « Les rendez-vous du Dimanche », TF1, Paris, France

A video about the band is broadcasters (non determined).
