28 June 1972 Brighton Dome, Brighton, England

Peter Clifton filmed the entire concert of June 28, 1972 in which the band played some old songs but also a pre-release of «Eclipse (assorted pieces for lunatics)».

The director also captured the rehearsals of the same show. Eugene was only seen in Peter Clifton's films «Sound of the City» and «Rock a City»; Then in the films «Superstars in Concert» and finally «Heart of the Sun».

Peter Clifton planned to make a film about the creation of «The Dark Side of the Moon» as early as 1979, but this project had been forgotten until recently. On a visit to Washington at the Smithsonian Center he asked if this audiovisual fund possessed some sequences of rocket fire ... A week later, a reel was delivered to him in his studio in Los Angeles where in place of a few minutes, the director found himself with nearly an hour and a half of film. Present on the box «Pink Floyd - The early years 1965-1972» but still in an incomplete version unfortunately.

September 1972 « Journal Télévisé », ORTF Studios, Paris, France

4 minute continuous-tracking shot around the band and amplifiers during the instrumental part of Echoes, Part 1. The shot moves in the opposite direction of the shot in the Pompeii film, which leads me to believe this is an alternate performance as well. Unfortunately this is the only one that was in the rushes, I believe Adrian had this footage made (converted from 35mm colour to 16mm black and white) for the short Pompeii reportage segment that was aired on French TV in 1972.
